A Brief History

We bought The Salad Bowl in December 2006. and for the next 12 months, converted the downstairs living accomodation into The Coffee Lounge which opened in September 2007.
We called it The Coffee Lounge as firstly, the front room of the two, was infact our lounge and secondly, we wanted to create an ambiant relaxing area for people to meet and enjoy an excellent cup of coffee.
We sourced the best machine, the best coffee beans and all went to be professionally trained by an award winning Barista.

We would like to welcome you to come and enjoy the best Italian Coffee, Home Made Cake, Light Lunch or Afternoon Tea in The Coffee Lounge, Audlem. You can then pop through to the Deli to select some truly excellent hand made cakes and produce to take home to enhance your food experience.
We have two comfortable rooms, seating 20 people and on a nice day you can sit in our beautiful courtyard with water feature, a truly tranquil setting. We have won The Best Kept Commercial Premises for 2009 and would like to share it with you.

OVERWATER MARINA COFFEE LOUNGE Same great food different venue!

We are pleased and proud to announce that we opened The OverWater Coffee Lounge 15th May 2010.
We serve light snacks, home made cakes and of course the best coffee around!!!
We have 7 delicious flavours of luxury Fortes Ice Cream, so come along to enjoy some alfresco dining on the canal side overlooking the beautiful OverWater Marina.
